This month we held an event for International Women’s Day that celebrated plant-powered women that are changing the world - She Loves Plants. If you didn’t come along this time, you can have a look at our highlights blog post here, to see what you missed.
The She Loves Plants attendees had the opportunity to have their portrait professionally done by the talented Jonathan Ashworth. All they had to do was tell him some of the ways that they are making an effort to save the world…
HOW ARE YOU SAVING THE WORLD?
By spreading love with beauty plant based foods.

I run an Instagram account @farahrising in which I post honest pieces around self love and the journey to empowering my wildest self <3
We run events from our space in Hackney Wick such as Kirtan (which is devoitional singing), Cacao Ceremonies, yoga and live music; helping people connect to the peace within them, and inspiring positive change in the world.
I (Sam) am also a singer singwriter who writes songs to also inspire and create change, both in our inner and outer worlds.
- Sam & Mollie (Vegan for 2yrs)
Being vegan, meditating, making TV programmes, promoting veganism, going to the United Nations conference on Climate Change and giving away free vegan meals to delegates (with a team of 30 international volunteers). Talking to world leaders about why to be vegan - as it's essential to save the world. Interviewing government officials and asking what they do to promote veganism in their countries, and giving them information, free food etc. Previously ran an environmental charity called Green Deserts, promoting tree planting in arid areas, doing tree planting projects with schools, and supplying environmental info.
