The amazing BOL took on the task of plant-powering London Fashion Week with their tasty salad jars this month, and they DELIVERED.
We were so excited when our friends at BOL invited us to February’s LFW; it was amazing to see a vegan company as the Official #FrontRow Food Partner. First London Fashion Week went fur-free, and now they have a vegan food partner?! There are honestly such progressive and positive things happening in the fashion world at the moment, and it’s amazing to see.
Our Social Media and Content Assistant, Jenny, went along to enjoy one of the shows (and also enjoyed a couple of BOL’s delicious salad jars for lunch, which she thought were 10/10). Along with BOL, brands such as Propercorn & Lavazza were handing out their nourishing snacks to fuel everyone for the eventful day. We cannot stress enough how brilliant it is to see conscious companies being showcased at such an influential, and not to mention, huge event!
It was an honour to be at London Fashion Week during the time of The British Fashion Council’s Positive Fashion initiative. Positive Fashion is designed to celebrate industry best practice and encourage future business decisions to create positive change. It has a focus on sustainability, and champions equality and diversity, too. We were fortunate enough to attend the diversity panel, where 4 ladies were discussing the lack of diversity in the fashion world. However, we can definitely see that this lack of diversity is gradually improving through the success of incredible models, such as Winnie Harlow. Also, due to the fact that these topics are being talked about in the mainstream.
Congrats to BOL for landing this incredible opportunity, and thank you for inviting us so we can witness it! It was an eye-opening day, and certainly won’t be our last London Fashion Week event!
