Today 8 January 2018, Tesco has launched a brand new range of irresistible meals that celebrate everything that’s ‘wicked’ and tasty about plants.
The range is called 'Wicked Kitchen', and has seen Tesco partner with pioneering chef and our friend Derek Sarno to develop delcious products that are now available in over 600 Tesco stores nationwide.
The range includes dishes like crispy carrot ‘pastrami’ to wicked-meated barbecued ‘shrooms and Sourdough Pizza.
Speaking about the release of the range chef Derek Sarno said: “When I first arrived in Britain from America I was hugely surprised at how little choice there was for vegans and those considering a lifestyle change. “For too long, vegans have been overlooked, with many offerings that are available seemingly created to appease rather than truly please.
“Wicked Kitchen plans to change all that and I’m proud to work with Tesco and offer all its customers delicious meals to get them on board with this growing foodie revolution.”
We've Been Working On Something Wicked
Derek Sarno graced the Vevolution main-stage at the festival back in November and we've been cooking up something exciting with him.
This Wednesday Vevolution will be holding an party to celebrate the launch of ‘Wicked Kitchen' - this isn't a public event but tune into the Vevolution and Wicked Healthy Instagram accounts on Wednesday evening for photos, videos and interviews from the people involved with bringing about this revolution of choice for the UK's plant-lovers.
